West Texas Styled Shoot

August 20, 2018

In the middle of June, I had the opportunity to be apart of yet another styled photo shoot, but this time in the beautiful, breathtaking desert landscape of Pinto Canyon, Texas. Which is just outside the cute, small town of Marfa. I had so much fun taking part in this shoot and watching all the leading ladies/vendors bring it all together and make something incredible! From the stunning blush bridal gown made my Elle Heavin, to the perfectly arranged florals made my Open Road Florals, the beautiful hair and make-up done by my leader, mentor, and friend Andrea Juarez, to the amazingly talented photography work done by Jona Davis and EVERYTHING in between, the shoot was just magical. In all the months of planning and hard work, the only part I can take credit in was simply just showing up and becoming a canvas for each and every one of the vendors. Everything really did just come together beautifully and the shoot was then featured on 100 Layer Cake 2 months later in the beginning of August. So this is just me, wanting to show off the work of everyone who put it all together!

Here are some behind the seen photos...

Not only do I feel fortunate to be apart of the shoot, but I feel fortunate that I was able to spend the weekend with some pretty amazing, beyond talented ladies who I look up in the wedding industry that I am becoming a part of.

You don't even have to look too closely to see all the DETAIL that emulates in these photos. The table was handmade my a Marfa local, Robert Crowely of Marfa Industries.

This beautiful, dusty-orange hand-dyed ribbon by Tono & Co flowed perfectly along side the elegant bridal gown made by Elle Heavin.

More detail of the hair + make up done by Andrea Juarez. Oh and not to mention the earrings by Mana Culture helped tie the whole look together!

You can find this feature on 100 Layer Cake's website under "Wedding Inspiration."
